The issue was 17 miles downrange from our facility, and so it is not an issue that we had direct control over.
For that reason, it is not considered preventable downtime, and it has been acknowledged and removed from our downtime history.
Last night, we had water intrusion on the fiber line about 17 miles out. Crews were dispatched to splice together a repair and we were instructed to look for light.
At about 12:30AM, we got light and all services were restored.
6 and a half hours of downtime.
